Driving a truck is more difficult than driving a car. Therefore, even experienced drivers who want to switch to a truck or plan to work as long-haul drivers need to complete category C training before taking the driving test. You can enroll in the course right now. The “Pilot” driving school accepts students for category C training from scratch, providing quality instruction and preparation for the exam.
What is included in the full course program
To teach a driver to operate a truck confidently and safely from scratch, a comprehensive approach is required. The full course for truck driving, like category B training, consists of two parts: theoretical and practical.
The theory is necessary to understand traffic rules and road behavior. It ensures safety and correct reactions in any situation.
Practical training begins after the theory. Students consolidate their knowledge and develop skills in handling a large vehicle.
How the course lessons are conducted
First, students take theory online or offline. This block covers:
- traffic rules;
- basic first aid;
- construction and operation of main vehicle components;
- legal aspects of truck driving.
Missed lessons can be viewed in recordings. After completing this block, students take a test on the official Ministry of Internal Affairs portal.
The practical category C training focuses on truck driving skills:
- training basic driving maneuvers on a driving range: “slalom,” reversing, turning in tight spaces;
- driving in real conditions — city roads with heavy traffic and complex intersections;
- developing safe and economical driving skills (Eco-driving).
At the final stage, exam preparation is conducted. Students complete internal tests, perform exam exercises, and receive final consultations from instructors. After this, registration for the official driving test at the Territorial Service Center is possible.
Who can take the full course
Anyone can enroll in the truck driving course, but there are two mandatory requirements:
- being of legal age (18+);
- no medical contraindications and a valid medical certificate.
Owning a truck is not required. The school provides the vehicle for training.
Advantages of the full category C course
Main advantage — reliability. Courses for categories A, B, and C at “Pilot Auto” provide comprehensive preparation for real conditions. Practical training begins on the driving range, then continues on city roads. Instructors select routes of varying difficulty to ensure diverse experience and confidence behind the wheel. This reduces stress during the category C exam and in professional driving.
Other benefits of the full course:
- thorough coverage of theoretical topics;
- support from qualified instructors at each stage;
- individual approach for every student.
Training at “Pilot” is also cost-effective, with a transparent payment system. The category C course price remains fixed from registration to completion.
